Howdy! The name's Alex and no, it's not short for Alexander. I find it really hard to write about myself, so I'll try to keep it short and sweet. I received a BFA in filmmaking from Massachusetts College of Art and Design in 2017, but I have been in love with storytelling since a very young age. I first began to explore storytelling through the medium of illustration; writing fan-fiction of my favorite cartoons and creating comic-like illustrations to go along with them. When I was in my junior year of high school, a friend and I wrote our first screenplay. Although it never turned into the cheesy, high school horror flick we had hoped, the process of writing that script sparked an interest in me that has carried me to where I am today. Now as a filmmaker, I'm interested in creating content that brings joy to people; that makes them laugh or forget about the crazy, messed up world we live in. If the only thing I accomplish in life is bringing smiles to people's faces through the films and music that I make, then I consider that a job well-done.
